Stronger Together

Self-Help Group for MPU Preparation

The path to your MPU does not have to be a solo journey. In our guided group, you meet people in the same situation. Together, many things become easier.

Our Offer

What Is Our Self-Help Group?

Our self-help group is a safe space for people preparing for the MPU. Here you meet others in the same situation, share experiences and support each other. This is not therapy but a valuable complement to individual MPU coaching.

The group is led by one of our experienced MPU coaches. This ensures that conversations remain productive and include professional input. At the same time, there is enough room for open exchange among peers.

Many participants say that connecting with others in a similar situation helped them the most. Realising you are not alone can be enormously relieving. And learning from others often brings fresh perspectives.

Who Is It For?

Who Is the Group For?

Our self-help group is open to everyone preparing for an MPU or already in the middle of the process.

After Alcohol-Related MPU

You are preparing for an MPU due to drink-driving and want to connect with others going through the same thing.

After Drug-Related MPU

You are facing an MPU due to drug use and are looking for people walking the same path.

During the Abstinence Phase

You are in the abstinence period and need support and motivation to stay on track. The group has your back.

For Motivation

Preparation drags on and motivation fades. In the group you recharge and stay focused.

How It Works

What to Expect in the Group?

Every meeting has a clear structure but leaves enough room for personal topics.

Sharing Experiences

Talk about your journey and hear how others deal with similar challenges. The best ideas often come from these conversations.

Mutual Motivation

When things get tough, the group helps. Other people's progress shows that it can be done. And setbacks are easier to handle when you are not alone.

Discussing Strategies

Together you develop strategies for everyday life. What worked for others? What can you adopt for yourself?

Relapse Prevention

Recognise situations that could become risky and make plans for how to handle them. This often works better in a group than on your own.
